Solar-Screen Fabrics

Designed to reduce heat, glare and damaging UV rays while allowing outward visibility, Atrium sunshades are available in 10 distinctive weaves and over 50 designer colors. Sheerweave and Basketweave are durable, easy to care for, PVC coated fiberglass mesh. Our newest addition to the sunshade collection is Lin Veil, a textured flaxen sunshade mesh that has a "natural" appearance which many prefer to the PVC meshes.

Privacy Fabrics

There are many fabrics to choose from which provide privacy yet let light filter in:
Solartrans - a light filtering treated cotton.
Bainbridge - very translucent light filtering cotton with rich color pallette
Diana - a translucent cotton available in "natural" only.
Canvas Duck - heavy (15 oz.) untreated cotton - fairly opaque but allows light through.
Customer's own material (COM) - laminated to a shade fabric

Black-Out Fabrics

Westport - Poly-cotton with a white light blocking fiberglass backing, coordinates with Bainbridge colors.
Ultima - Poly cotton on inside and out with fiberglass core for complete light blockage.
Suede - room dimming vinyl with a textured suede-like finish. 4- ply black out vinyl - standard black out fabric. Also available with moire pattern.
Pantaflex - a 4-ply blackout vinyl available in a broad range of colors.

Mylar

The tried and true solution for interior sun control, our mylar films come in 2-ply or 3-ply and are mounted on a roller shade which can be spring or chain controlled:
2-ply is a layer of gray seen from the inside and a layer of silver which appears as a mirror from the outside.
Heat Rejection: 67% Available in: - gray/silver
3-ply has a layer of color on both the inside and the outside with the silver (heat reflective) layer sandwiched in between.
Heat Rejection: 43%
Available in: - gray/silver/gray - bronze/silver/bronze.

Grasscloth Shades

Designed to simulate woven grass, these fabrics are woven of cellulose and/or polyester fibers and are typically used for both Roller shades or Roman shades.
Our grasscloth collection includes:
Matchstick, a 100% cellulose mesh blocks 75% of harmful UV rays and offers excellent visibility.
Ecco, quite similar to Matchstick, comes in a wider selection of colors.
Sienna, a linen-like fabric with horizontal stripes comes in three neutral colors.
San Remo, a reed style polyester mesh, blocks ~98% of the UV rays while providing a hint of visibility.

Folding Roman Shades

Elegant yet functional
Roman shades make an upscale addition to any room. They can be constructed in the "flat" style or the "pleated" stlye. The fabrics available range from the practical sunscreen mesh, to the classic grasscloth fabric, to light-filtering canvas duck. In some cases the shades can be constructed from the customer's own material (COM).

Flat Style Romans

Operated by a system of cords and pulleys which run through rings stitched to the backside of the fabric. When down these shades appear as one panel of fabric.

Pleated Style Romans

Also operated by cords and pulleys this shade has seams stitched into the fabric (instead of rings) with a series of grommets in each seam (or pleat) which the cords run through on the backside of the fabric. When down these shades appear as a panel of fabric with horizontal seams every 8".
Fabrics available for Folding Romans include:
